sehr interessante Lektüre. Was aber ist der praktische Nutzen für durchschnittliche VeganerInnen?
Dazu schrieb Jack Norris letzten Sommer hier:

Im Februar besprach Jack Norris das Paper The influence of a whole food vegan diet with Nori algae and wild mushrooms on selected blood parameters.:jacknorrisrd.com hat geschrieben:In conclusion, there is no new evidence to suggest that nori is a reliable source of B12 for vegans and I advise against relying on it.

Vegans following a whole food diet had a borderline supply of vitamin B12. Folic acid, vitamin B6, TSH, iron metabolism, and the blood count were in the normal range. Vegans taking dietary supplements demonstrated satisfactory overall results. An ingestion of sundried mushrooms can contribute to the supply of vitamin D.
Alle Mikro- und Makronährstoffe bereitstellende vegane Ernährung überfordert IMO leider bereits ohne Berücksichtigung pflanzlicher B12-Quellen durchschnittliche VeganerInnen. Solange keine zuverlässigen pflanzlichen B12-Quellen überall problemlos verfügbar sind, erscheinen mir B12-Supplemente geeigneter.jacknorrisrd.com hat geschrieben:This research indicates that at the amounts given, nori and sun dried mushrooms do not improve vitamin B12 status.
